Privacy
This website keeps what you type in your own browser. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics and shows no advertising.
What is stored, and where
Everything below lives in your browser's local storage on this device. Nothing is sent to a server run by this website.
Your settings
Theme, language, text size, high contrast and reduced motion, so the site looks the same next time.
The registration form
Your answers are saved as you type, so you can close the tab and carry on later. Files you choose never leave your device: the form keeps only their name and size, and a small thumbnail of photos. Aadhaar numbers are stored masked, showing the last four digits only. Sending the form keeps a copy in this browser for the demo admin portal; it is not sent to the school.
Enquiries, the documents checklist and the demo portal
Enquiries, the ticks on the documents checklist and every record in the school portal (students, attendance, marks, notices, leave requests and so on) are demo data kept in this browser. The portal's Demo data tab can reset or export them.
Removing it all
Clear this site's data from your browser's settings, or use Reset in the portal's Demo data tab.
When something leaves your device
KIS Buddy
KIS Buddy answers on your device by default ("Smart Offline"). Only if you paste your own API key into its settings does it send your question, with a summary of the school's public facts, to the AI provider you chose (Groq, Google Gemini or OpenRouter), under that provider's privacy policy. The key stays in your browser.
The map and the campus film
When you are online, the Contact page loads a map from OpenStreetMap and the About page streams the campus film from kis.edu.in. Those requests go to those services.
Links
Links to the official registration form and parent portal (Edunext), and to the school's social media, take you to those services, which have their own policies.
